I had the opportunity to create a video for the special of the Virgin Mary on the occasion of the December 7-8 celebrations. It was a promotional video that aimed to showcase the different stages of the Virgin Mary's life, from the announcement of her conception to the death of Jesus. The video was created using After Effects and a combination of famous and not-so-famous paintings to create a unique and compelling visual experience.
The video was a controversial one, as I used a combination of "Bartolomé Esteban Perez Murillo" paintings and the face of Liv Tyler as "Arwen" in "The Lord of the Rings" to create my own version of the Virgin Mary. I wanted to create a unique and different representation of the Virgin Mary, just like many artists have done throughout history.
The video takes the viewer on a journey through the different stages of the Virgin Mary's life, starting with the announcement of her conception and ending with the death of Jesus. The use of After Effects and a combination of paintings created a visual experience that was both beautiful and impactful.
Creating this video was a challenging but rewarding experience. It allowed me to showcase my skills as a motion graphic designer and to create something unique and beautiful. While the video was controversial, I am proud of the work that I did and the impact that it had.
