My First Set Design Project: Designing an Indian Palace for Teen Universe 2018

In this blog post, I will share my experience as a graphic designer when I was presented with the opportunity to design a set for the Teen Universe 2018 final gala. Specifically, I will focus on my proposal to create an Indian palace as a tribute to the outgoing queen, Shristy Kaur, who was from India.

As a graphic designer, set design was a new venture for me, but I was excited to take on the challenge. My vision for the set was to incorporate the iconic architectural details of India, such as golden finishes, conceptual pillars, traditional portals, and a majestic chandelier that would be placed at the center of the stage.

Throughout the design process, I explored various textures and lighting options, as well as taking inspiration from Bollywood movies. However, due to budget constraints and time limitations, my set proposal was not selected for the final gala.

Despite the setback, I gained valuable knowledge and skills in creating 3D spaces and architectural styles using Cinema 4D. This project opened up a new avenue for my graphic design career and further expanded my creative capabilities.
